We founded Leaders Legacy, Inc., www.leaderslegacy.com, in January of 2000 as an organization devoted to "developing great leaders and great legacies."

Leaders Legacy came out of my passion and vision to help people reach their fullest potential in life personally, professionally and spiritually.

Before Leaders Legacy I had a good diversity of vocations.  This included residential construction and remodeling, and managing a health fitness center, before spending nine years with Kendall Health Care as a sales executive in sales, marketing and training.

I then went on to serve as part of the executive team for an international non-profit organization for almost 10 years, focusing on training and developing leaders here in the US and in over 80 countries.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of speaking and training for conferences sponsored by Fortune 100 corporations, trade associations and non-profit organizations throughout the United States, as well as Canada, Europe, South Africa and Asia.

I have been a talk show guest on many national and local radio and TV affiliates, including NBC Radio, National Public Radio, Clear Channel Radio, Fox TV and PAX-TV.

To complement our efforts in mentoring and developing people inside organizations, we have been using a tool called the Birkman Method for almost 20 years.  I am a certified, senior consultant for administering the Birkman Method, and all of our staff and key associates are certified as well.

I graduated from San Diego State University, where I was awarded a basketball scholarship. I also played ball my first two years at Eastern Kentucky University.

My wife, Anne, and I have been married for 30 great years and still counting. We live in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have two sons and one daughter.

I still love sports and the outdoors. I have been doing triathlons for the past few years and completed my first Ironman in 2008. I'm currently training for my second Ironman. I also love mountain biking. Once in awhile I will play some pick up ball with our sons and daughter and their friends. They call me "Robocop" because I have to wear ankle braces and knee braces...but I can still shoot!
